Dr Bruce Hatton began today serving as our Interim Principal at South Knox Middle High School. He will help us the next few weeks as we continue our search for a Middle High School Principal. He will be working closely with Mr Toothman. We welcome Dr Hatton to South Knox.

Good Afternoon, a reminder that breakfast is served each day at the SKE Cafeteria from 8-830 am and at the SKMHS from 7:50-8:15 am. Breakfast will still be served on 1 hr delay days but not on 2 hr delay days. Also, Parent Teacher conferences are being moved back one week from what was published on one of our calendars. They will be Wednesday, Oct 15 at SKE and Oct 16 at SKMHS. Thank you and have a great evening.

SKE was placed on a "Hold" from 12:30-1:30 this afternoon. During a "Hold" students and staff are asked to remain in their classrooms behind locked doors to keep the hallways empty. Classroom learning continued throughout the Hold, and all school operations returned to normal at 1:30

An elementary student brought a kitchen type knife to school this morning. It was discovered by staff and they and the administration took care of the situation immediately. At no time was any student in danger. We wanted to communicate this to minimize rumors that get out of control quickly. As always your childrens' safety is of utmost importance to us.
